Getting an Account

To request a new LCRC account for access to the LCRC clusters, you’ll need to complete the form located here. See below for additional instructions.

Once your request has been approved and your account has been created, you will receive an email letting you know. The next step will be adding a public SSH key. You can find information on how to do this here.

Argonne employees

When applying for an account, Argonne employees do not need to enter a sponsor as their accounts are automatically granted access to LCRC resources.

Account sponsors needing to approve pending accounts for non-Argonne employees can do so here. You will also receive a notification via email with this link when there are pending requests.

Non-Argonne employees

Non-Argonne employees need to indicate a sponsor that is a full-time Argonne employee. Your sponsor will need to approve the account request before your account can be created.

Non-Argonne employee accounts will also need to be tied to an active project in order to keep their account active. This can be done after the account has been created as we’ll be making periodic checks on this. If an account is not tied to an active project, we will inform you before making any changes. Non-U.S. citizens

Non-U.S. citizens will need an approved ANL-593 form with computer access allowed before an account can be created. Ask your supervisor or secretary for help filling out this form.
