Call:  Maui high Performance Computing Center has accounts on Tempest (736-processor IBM Power3 SMP), Huinalu (520 processor Linux cluster), and Squall (32 processor IBM P2SC system). Users of Tempest/Huinalu must eithr have active DOD or DOE clearance. Users of Squall do not require clearance.

Call:  Principal Investigators who are funded by the DOE Office of Science or those who aren't directly supported by DOE SC but whose projects are relevant to the mission of the Office of Science may apply to use NERSC. While the above deadline is for the annual proposal review, startup accounts can be requested at any time. Available computer facilities include Seaborg (6,656 IBM RS/6000 SP processors), Jacquard (320 Opteron dual-processor cluster), and mathematics and graphics servers.

Development Allocations (DAC) are awarded continuously, Medium Resource Allocations are awarded quarterly (proposals due in January, April, July, and October), and Large Resource Allocations are awarded twice a year (proposals due in January and July).
