LCRC Users,
The building 240 data center, which houses all the LCRC resources, will experience a complete shutdown of cooling and a partial shutdown of power beginning the morning of May 8, through the end of day May 11. This is to support the cooling upgrade project as part of bringing Aurora to life. ALL LCRC resources will be powered down during this time (compute nodes, filesystems, condo nodes, web, etc.). To prepare for this outage, LCRC resources will go offline starting Sunday, May 7 around noon CST. We expect to begin turning systems back on sometime Friday afternoon, but we don’t have an exact ETA yet. An all-clear email will be sent when LCRC is back online.
